RapidPunch Privacy Policy

Overview

RapidPunch is an offline-first punch-list and inspection tool. Project content stays on your device unless you choose to share it or use optional backup and sync. When anonymous usage totals are enabled, the app transmits aggregate product-usage counts and timing measurements. Optional iCloud backup uses your own Apple iCloud account.

Information We Collect and Data Storage

Project content stored locally includes:

• Punch-list items, addresses, and repair history
• Photos and AR measurements attached to punch items
• Pre-Carpet inspection reports, scoring, and signatures
• Builder QA inspection PDFs, parsed on-device
• Fire mode inspections and land status tracking
• Trade and contact information
• Reinspection dates and scheduling
• Documents and imported files
• App settings and preferences

This project content is not included in RapidPunch's anonymous telemetry. User-directed sharing and iCloud backup are described below.

Anonymous Usage Totals

RapidPunch can send aggregate usage totals to measure adoption, workflow speed, follow-up quality, and estimated administrative time saved. Records use a random installation identifier and may include calendar day, active days, items created, sent, completed, overdue or dated, homes worked, QA/NHO imports, Pre-Carpet inspections and outcomes, repair rounds, report exports, and duration buckets between creation, sending, and completion.

This telemetry does not include addresses, community names, employee or customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, trade/vendor details, photos, notes, punch-item text, PDF contents, signatures, precise location, advertising identifiers, or device account identities.

You may disable it under Settings → Privacy & Anonymous Usage. That screen shows the last successful sync and lets you delete the anonymous server history for your installation. Records are retained for no more than 24 months. An active installation represents a device installation, not a verified employee or licensed seat.

Company Licensing and How We Use Information

Future enrollment disclosure: Company enrollment, identified licensing activity, and policy acknowledgement tracking are not enabled by this legal-page update. Where these features are introduced, users will receive a separate enrollment notice before collection begins. This page alone does not enroll you, record acceptance, or authorize a charge.

For company licensing, RapidPunch may collect first name, last initial, company affiliation, an internal RapidPunch User ID, basic licensing/activity events, verification and licensing status, and legal-policy acknowledgement timestamp and accepted version. A personal email address is not required solely for this process.

This information may be used to provide RapidPunch, identify the creator of exported documents, maintain user records, verify company affiliation, administer licensing, calculate licensed-user counts, generate company invoices, prevent duplicate user charges, maintain billing/audit records, protect security, and support and improve the service. Identified licensing records are distinct from anonymous usage totals.

Information Shared With Licensing Customers

When your company licenses RapidPunch, RapidPunch Punchlist LLC may provide limited information necessary to administer that relationship: first name, last initial, internal billing/user ID, company affiliation, verification status, billable/non-billable licensing status, and the applicable per-user licensing charge.

Routine licensing and invoice reports do not include home addresses, buyer/customer information, photos, punch-list contents, inspection findings, employee rankings, productivity scores, individual productivity comparisons, or detailed individual activity statistics. Any separate sharing must have an applicable authorization, agreement, or legal requirement; it is not enabled by routine licensing.

iCloud Backup & Sync

Optional backup and cross-device sync stores punch lists, photos, and reports in your own private Apple iCloud account. This is governed by Apple's privacy policy. RapidPunch cannot access your personal iCloud backup, and no copy is sent to our telemetry servers. Without backup or user-directed sharing, project content remains on your device.

Device Permissions

Permissions are optional and used for the following purposes:

• Camera: punch-item and inspection photos and the AR tape measure
• Photo library: attaching existing photos
• Contacts: vendor groups and sharing recipients
• Calendar: reinspection dates and scheduling
• Microphone and speech recognition: dictation using the keyboard microphone

Permission-derived project content is not uploaded to anonymous telemetry. You control user-directed exports and optional backup.

Third-Party Services

RapidPunch does not use third-party advertising or behavioral-tracking SDKs and does not sell personal information. Hosting and database providers process anonymous aggregate totals to operate private executive reporting. Where company licensing is enabled, necessary licensing information may also be processed by service providers and shared with licensing customers as described above. Optional iCloud backup remains in your Apple account.

Data Sharing & Export

You control where PDF reports and device-share-sheet exports are sent. Exported project content is not uploaded to the telemetry service. Where document attribution is enabled, exported documents may identify their preparer by first name, last initial, and company; recipients you choose can see that attribution.

Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete on-device records within the app. Uninstalling removes local app data; make a backup first if you want to keep it. Before uninstalling, use Settings → Privacy & Anonymous Usage to delete the installation's anonymous server history. iCloud copies may remain until you remove them through Apple's storage settings. Anonymous aggregate records are retained for no more than 24 months.

When identified licensing is enabled, user and billing records will be kept only as needed for licensing administration, accurate invoices, dispute resolution, security, and applicable legal obligations. A specific retention schedule must be established before that collection begins. Requests for correction or deletion can be sent to the contact below; records required for legal or billing obligations may need to be retained rather than erased immediately.

Data Accuracy

Provide accurate identity and company information and request corrections when it changes. A company selection alone does not prove employment. Duplicate or inaccurate licensing records may be reviewed and corrected; project records and historical invoice evidence should not be silently reset.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled, but no storage or transmission method is completely secure. Protect your device, backup account, and exported files. Do not share information you are not authorized to disclose.

Children's Privacy

RapidPunch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

RapidPunch Terms of Service

Acceptance and Use of RapidPunch

These terms describe use of RapidPunch provided by RapidPunch Punchlist LLC. Any acknowledgement required for a future policy update will be presented separately; publishing this page does not itself record your acceptance. Applicable company agreements and mandatory legal rights remain in effect.

RapidPunch assists with construction punch lists, inspection documentation, scheduling, and reports. It does not replace professional judgment, required inspections, safety procedures, building codes, lender requirements, or contractual obligations. Review generated reports, measurements, dates, and imported information before relying on or sharing them.

Company Licensing and User Identification

RapidPunch Punchlist LLC may license RapidPunch to companies or organizations based on verified users or another agreed commercial structure. Users may be asked for first name, last initial, and company affiliation and assigned an internal unique user identifier. This information may support licensing eligibility, billable-user counts, and limited identification and licensing records provided to the licensing customer.

Users must provide accurate company information and must not intentionally impersonate another person or company. RapidPunch Punchlist LLC may correct, merge, deactivate, or reject inaccurate or duplicate user records. This does not grant permission to erase unrelated project data.

Company licensing information is not intended as an employee productivity evaluation system. Usage information does not modify an agreed contractual per-user price unless separately agreed between RapidPunch Punchlist LLC and the licensing customer. Company selection alone does not create a personal payment obligation; pricing and eligibility are governed by the applicable company agreement.

Authorized Use and User Records

Use RapidPunch only for lawful purposes and information you are authorized to manage. Do not misuse another person's identity, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or falsify licensing records. You are responsible for the accuracy of your project content, authorized sharing, and appropriate backups.

Intellectual Property

You retain your rights in your project content. RapidPunch Punchlist LLC and its licensors retain their rights in the application, branding, and associated materials. Use of the service does not transfer ownership of those materials to you or ownership of your content to RapidPunch. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Availability and Responsibility

The service may change or experience interruptions. Keep independent copies of important records and verify outputs. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.
